sound interesting that is Tangy Orange Peel Pickle. In the wake of hearing the
recipe I needed to check out to it and it turned fabulous. So, in this Corona
we are advised to take lot of Vitamin C rich organic products. At the point,
when I notice Vitamin C the primary citrus organic product which hits our
psyche is Juicy Orange. For the most part everybody likes this natural product.
Indeed, this week we are going to change over the Orange Peel to intriguing
Pickle Recipe. Simply check out to it is fantabulous. Let’s check the benefits
of Orange Peel before beginning with the readiness.
Benefits of Orange Peel

Ingredients:
- Chopped Orange Peels-1 Plate
- Tamarind-Lemon Sized [ Extract the Tamarind Pulp]
- Jaggery Powder-3Tbsp
Seasoning:
- Groundnut Oil-4Tbsp
- Mustard Seeds-1Tsp
- Chana Dal-1Tsp
- Urad Dal-1Tsp
- Turmeric Powder-1Tsp
- Chilli Powder-Tsp
- Ginger(Chopped)-1 Tbsp
- Curry Leaves- 10
- Salt to Taste
How to prepare Tangy Orange Peel Pickle?
- Chop the Orange Peel and extract the Tamarind Pulp and keep aside
Take a pan and add oil. After the oil gets heated up add mustard, Chana dal, Urad Dal, turmeric powder, curry leaves, chopped ginger in the ratio mentioned above [Ignite the pan in Medium Flame].
- Add
Orange Peel and Chilli Powder and sauté it for five minutes
- Add the extracted tamarind pulp, jaggery powder,salt accordingly and cook until the smell of raw tamarind goes away.
Yes, our Quick Tangy Orange Peel Pickle is
ready!!!!
Once the Pickle is cooled store it in an
air-tight glass container preferably and place it in the refrigerator.
This serves as a good combination with
Curd Rice, Dosa, Chapati and Sandwich.
Note:
Sesame oil tastes excellent for pickles and you can try using it.To increase the shelf life days of the pickle,you can place it in the sun weekly once.
