Pepper Kuzhambu

Hope everyone are doing great. The recipe for the present week is

 simple pepper kuzhambu. Whenever you find there is no veggies in 

your house, you can prepare this instant pepper kuzhambu. Taking 

this pepperKuzhambu in this Pandemic time is good ,as this

 increasesthe immune power. Papad fills in as a good combo with 

this kuzhambu. 

Let’s begin with the preparation.

Ingredients

  • Pepper-2 Tbsp
  • Toor Dal-2 Tbsp
  • Red Chilli-2
  • Garlic-10 no’s
  • Tamarind-Lemon size(Extract the Tamarind Pulp)
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt as required
  • Curry leaves –Few

How to Prepare Pepper Kuzhambu?

  • Take pepper, toor dal, red chilli, garlic, curry leaves in the ratio mentioned and extract the Tamarind Pulp.


  • Saute the pepper, toor dal, red chilli and garlic for two minutes.


  • After the heat gets reduced, blend the above ingredients along with the extracted tamarind Pulp and keep the prepared paste aside.


  • Heat a pan and add 3 spoons of sesame oil to it. After the oil gets heated up add mustard. Once the mustard splutters add curry leaves to it.


  • Add the prepared paste to the pan. Let the Kuzhambu boil for five to ten minutes. Add required salt and turn off.
