Instant Lady's Finger MorKuzhambu

So, today I decided to pen down my favourite recipe in my blog that

 is instant lady’s finger morkuzhambu which is super easy to prepare. You guys don’t have to put more effort for this morkuzhambu preparation.

 Morkuzhambu which is a famous south Indian recipe prepared with buttermilk. It is widely prepared on festivals. This morkuzhambu adds more taste when u prepare it with sour buttermilk.

Buttermilk has to be taken in food as it is rich in calcium and good source of protein. It cleanses the intestine, relieves constipation.It has less fat compared to milk. So make sure to have buttermilk at least once a day

This is typically served with boiled rice and it serves as a good side dish for idli, dosa too. This morkuzhambu preparation does not needs coconut, which is prepared in my style and all the members in my family loves it. Just want it to share with you too.


Let’s proceed with the preparation

Serving: 2 members

Ingredients:

To Soak for 10 minutes

Toor Dal-3 Tsp

Cumin seeds-1Tsp

Coriander seeds-2 Tsp

Green chilli-4

Ginger –Pinch

MorKuzhambu essentials:

Oil-2Tsp

Mustard seeds-1Tsp

Urad Dal-1Tsp

Red Chilli-1

Chopped Lady’s Finger

Sour Buttermilk-1 Bowl

Turmeric-1Tsp

Asafoetida-Pinch

Curry Leaves- Few

Salt to taste

 

How to prepare Instant Lady’s Finger Morkuzhambu?

1.Take the soaked ingredients mentioned above and blend to fine paste.





2. Churn the buttermilk well, add the turmeric, salt accordingly, asafoetida, in the ratio given and add the blended paste to it and stir all the ingredients.






3.Take a pan, add oil to it. When the oil gets heated, add mustard to it. Once 

the mustard splutters, add Urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves, lady's finger and

saute it well.


4.Add the prepared paste (2), coriander leaves to the pan. Let it boil for five 

minutes. Once the bubble comes turn off the flame.

Yes, our Yummy Lady’s Finger Morkuzhambu is ready.
